ARTx Festival Intern

Fall or Spring Semesters, 10 hours/week

Creative Flagstaff is seeking an intern to assist with the inaugural ARTx: Art + Ideas Experience Arizona festival from start to finish. ARTx: Art + Ideas Experience Arizona is a 10 day event, with art-centric activations across the city. Organizers partner with local venues to bring art, performance, presentations and more to the entire city. The ARTx internship spans the Fall and Spring semesters, culminating with the event from May 17^th-26^th, 2024. ARTx is regional and national platform for local artists, creatives, and thinkers, ARTx is an annual, accessible community opportunity to engage with the arts in an immersive and interactive way.

ARTx interns need to be engaged in the entire process. Beginning with the call for entries and jury selection process, to securing venues and operational logistics, facilitating social media and marketing strategy and execution. All of this will be in addition to the planning and execution of this city-wide festival event.

ARTx interns may take ownership over different parts of the event including volunteer coordination, this can be modified based on the personal interest and experience desired by the intern. Interns should be interested in event management, arts administration, and/or non-profit development.

Viola Awards Intern

Fall or Spring Semester, 10 hours/week

Creative Flagstaff is seeking an intern to assist with the 16^th Annual Viola Awards from start to finish. The Viola Awards internship spans the Fall and Spring semesters, culminating with the event in spring 2024. The Viola Awards are an annual celebration of excellence in art, science, and culture in the greater Flagstaff area. The main ceremony is attended by more than 500 guests each year.

Viola Awards interns be engaged in the entire process. Beginning with soliciting nominations, to assembling panels, facilitating finalist and winner selection. All of this will be in addition to the planning and execution of this annual event.

Past Viola Award interns have taken ownership over different parts of the event including volunteer coordination, this can be modified based on the experience desired by the intern. Viola Awards interns should be interested in event management, arts administration, and/or non-profit development.

Coconino Center for the Arts Exhibitions & Programs Intern

Fall or Spring Semester, 10 hours/week

Creative Flagstaff is seeking an intern to assist with exhibitions and programs at Coconino Center for the Arts. his will include gaining experience with exhibition installation, in addition to assisting with exhibition related programing including workshops, presentations, and performances. Exhibitions & Programs interns should be interested in exhibition curation & management, arts administration, and/or non-profit experience.
Duties:

• Assisting in the installation and deinstallation of exhibitions
• Assisting with any exhibition related programing

Coconino Center for the Arts Concert & Events Internship

Fall or Spring Semester, 10 hours/week

Creative Flagstaff is seeking an intern to assist with marketing and event management for concerts at Coconino Center for the Arts. Coconino Center for the Arts located on North Fort Valley Road contains a 200-seat theater regularly programmed with various performing arts including concerts and plays. Primary focus of this internship will be concert and event marketing to increase ticket sales, revenue, and event attendance. Internship will also provide opportunities to gain insight into booking and artist management.

Duties:

• Assisting in the creation and execution of marketing plans and assets for events
• Implementation of marketing tactics including direct community engagement
• Data analysis as related to marketing plan

Coconino Center for the Arts History & Archive Internship

Fall or Spring Semester, 10 hours/week

Creative Flagstaff is seeking an intern to assist in the creation of a historical record for Coconino Center for the Arts (CCA). CCA is located at 2300 N. Fort Valley Road and contains a 4,000 sq-ft gallery and 200-seat theater. In 2024, CCA will be turning 40. We are seeking an intern to comb through and organize historical records, photographs, and video help tell the story of the 40 years of CCA to celebrate this milestone in 2024.

Duties:

• Organize and catalogue historical documents, photographs and video
• Produce time-line of activity at CCA over 40 years
• Produce document which tells the story of Coconino Center for the Arts over 40 years
