Creative Flagstaff is proud to announce the 2026 Flagstaff First Friday ArtWalk Season. Flagstaff’s First Friday ArtWalk is a monthly celebration of creativity that brings downtown to life on the first Friday of every month. Artist studios, galleries, shops, restaurants, and local venues open their doors in the evening, showcasing a diverse mix of art—from painting and photography to ceramics, jewelry, and live performance. Visitors can stroll between locations, meet artists, enjoy live music, and experience the vibrant energy of Flagstaff’s arts community. Whether you’re a dedicated collector or just looking for a lively night out, First Friday offers a welcoming, walkable way to connect with local culture and creativity.

Incahoots Vintage Clothing and Costumes: Specializing in funky to fabulous vintage clothing, accessories and costumes, as well as offer a large selection of new and vintage hats. They will have a Live Mannequin, Pixie and a Themed Party for each month! September: Back To School & INCAHOOTS 35th Birthday Party.

Ari’s Art Exchange Paint-A-Pencil-Cup Workshop: Ari’s Art Exchange, Little Free Art Box Project, and The Fairy Godmother Boutique are joining forces once again to bring you another community crafting experience! For September’s project, create your own pencil cups! They have glass jars waiting to be painted and decorated using thier supplies and your imagination! Best part about it? You get to take it home when it’s done!

High Country Vintage & Goods:  For First Friday ArtWalk, High Country Vintage & Goods will bring a curated collection of vintage boots, bags, hats and accessories to Shoes & Such. Guests can shop Shoes & Such new arrivals alongside one-of-a-kind vintage pieces selected to mix old and new and create looks that feel personal, unexpected and distinctly Flagstaff.

Open Doors: Art in Action
423 N. Beaver St.

Open Doors: Art in Action is a non-profit art gallery, located in the Parish Hall of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. Since 2018, the gallery has had thirty-one exhibits to raise awareness of social, environmental, and justice issues in our community.  The current exhibit, Love Our Neighbor: Peace and Reconciliation and is about the Middle East conflict between Christians, Muslims and Jews.  There will be refreshments starting at 6 pm and music by Ponderosa Raga Collective from 6-7 pm.  At 7 pm, the featured speakers are NAU Professor Emily Schneider and Fayez Dalia.

Arizona Handmade Gallery / Fire on the Mountain

Artists and owners George Averbeck and Holly Gramm are both long time Flagstaff residents. Arizona Handmade Gallery is linked with Fire on the Mountain glass studio, creating both a showroom for George’s blown glass creations, as well as an outlet for over 60 Arizona artists to display and sell their handmade works.

Eat some FREE Timberline Ice Cream, then ride to Heritage Square at 5pm for Car-Free First Friday ArtWalk.

⁠Be prepared with layers, lights, and helmets, and bring a friend for some two-wheeled fun. This is a party-pace, family-friendly, ride-at-your-own-risk community ride, and we hope to see you there!
