Creative Flagstaff is proud to announce the 2026 Flagstaff First Friday ArtWalk Season. Flagstaff’s First Friday ArtWalk is a monthly celebration of creativity that brings downtown to life on the first Friday of every month. Artist studios, galleries, shops, restaurants, and local venues open their doors in the evening, showcasing a diverse mix of art—from painting and photography to ceramics, jewelry, and live performance. Visitors can stroll between locations, meet artists, enjoy live music, and experience the vibrant energy of Flagstaff’s arts community. Whether you’re a dedicated collector or just looking for a lively night out, First Friday offers a welcoming, walkable way to connect with local culture and creativity.

Open Doors: Art in Action
423 N. Beaver St.

Open Doors: Art in Action is a non-profit art gallery, located in the Parish Hall of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. November 6th is the Final Reception for Mental Health: Colors of Well Being. This exhibit is about Mental illness and how it affects millions of people’s lives each day. There will be refreshments starting at 6 pm and music by Terry Alan from 6-7 pm. At 7 pm, the featured speakers will be Devon Forrest, CEO of the Guidance Center followed by Brandy Stuhan, Clinical Director of the new Coconino County Youth Center for Behavioral Health.

Bee Balm Studio
201 E Birch Ave #16⁠

Located in Downtown Flagstaff’s Historic Ice House, Bee Balm Studio is a creative space for making, learning, and connecting. Through classes and workshops rooted in the visual arts and other creative practices, they support artists of all levels in developing skills and exploring new forms of expression.

Arizona Handmade Art Gallery
20 N. San Francisco St.

Arizona Handmade Art Gallery showcases an eclectic collection of art handcrafted by both renowned and up-and-coming artists from across Arizona. Renowned Navajo (Diné) painter Shonto Begay is joining Arizona Handmade Gallery in Downtown Flagstaff. Shonto newest originals will be on exhibit and for sale. An opening reception will be held 6-9 pm, Flagstaff First Friday Art Walk on November 6 at Arizona Handmade Art Gallery.

Shane Knight Gallery
11 East Aspen Ave.

Shane has photographed western horses and their surrounding landscapes for over 25 years. Shane specializes in custom sized pieces of various sizes. Visit the gallery to experience Shane’s vision, craftsmanship and love of western photography.

West of the Moon Gallery

Lisa Lund, an artist from Wickenburg just joined the gallery with her embossed metal creations. Please come welcome Lisa to the gallery & enjoy the art & Dave Rentz will be our one man band!

Dawn Kish, Whale Foundation, and Beyond the Pines: featuring the photography and films of Dawn Kish in partnership with the Whale Foundation and Beyond the Pines. The event will take place from 6-9pm, showcase Dawn’s photography and film, and raise funds for The Whale Foundation. Pop-up will be located at 604 N Beaver St.
