Erin Gardner joined Creative Flagstaff in 2022. Erin has a great appreciation for art galleries and for the very real and tangible ways art can serve our communities. She has had the pleasure of working in art museums, art studios, and art galleries for five years and has experience in art handling and collections management. Erin is originally from Kentucky and is relatively new to Arizona and the southwest. She first developed a love for the arts and the belief that she could make it her profession through her work at a local art gallery. She then moved on to pursue the humanities in her university education where she specialized in museum studies, art history, and literature. During her time at university, she held a position at the Speed Art Museum in Louisville, Kentucky. Following her graduation from university, she moved to Alaska where she became an Archive Technician for a local indigenous community. Erin is thankful to be in Arizona and is excited for this new chapter. During her free time Erin loves to spend time outdoors and is excited to further explore Arizona’s wild beauty.
