“This fall, I was thrilled to join Creative Flagstaff as Exhibitions and Programs Director at Coconino Center for the Arts. My prior leadership experience in the arts and higher education made this a natural transition in my career. As a visual artist and educator, I am deeply interested in the intersection of arts, science, and culture. Since joining Creative Flagstaff I have continued to pursue these interests in my professional work. Most recently, I was invited by Oregon State University along with fellow Flagstaff artist Bryan David Griffith to present the keynote address for the “Lookout: Envisioning Futures with Wildfire” lecture series with the Environmental Arts and Humanities Initiative, where we also presented a graduate class “Art on Fire.” Concurrently, I have continued to be involved with the Western States Center (WSC) following my 2020 fellowship that culminated in my recent collaborative installation W H I T E F L I G H T (exhibited at CCA in June 2021). I was honored to present my work with WSC at the national Activists Mobilizing for Power (AMP) conference in October 2021. I’m looking forward to the WSC fellowship culminating in a cohort trip to Poland in June 2022 for continued research on themes of racism, antisemitism and democracy.”
