Awarded Methodology

Due to the pandemic year, the Grantmaking Committee took great care to ensure that fluctuations in award eligibility based on prior operating expenses were limited. Each application was scored and ranked based on the grant criteria and then scaled for the available funds using the FY21 GOS methodology. Then, each computed award was compared to prior year awards. Where possible, the committee adjusted award amounts (mostly increasing) to more closely align with prior year awards.

Award eligibility was based on the average of the past three year operating expenses.
